The opening ceremony of the 6th Museum and Related Products and Technologies Expo was held in Hall C of Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center at 9:30 am on November 23, 2014. The opening ceremony was presided over by Song Xinchao, Deputy Director General of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and Chairman of the China Association of Museums. Vice Minister of Culture and Director General of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage Li Xiaojie, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Su Bo, Director of the Palace Museum Shan Jixiang, as well as leaders from Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Xiamen Municipal Party Committee attended and addressed the ceremony. Nearly 100 people from museums and enterprises all over the country attended the opening ceremony.
