On November 24, the annual meeting of the Volunteer Committee of The China Museum Association and the promotion activity of the 9th "Hand-in-hand History -- Top ten Volunteer Stars of Chinese Museums" was held at the Straits International Convention and Exhibition Center in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Guan Qiang, deputy director of The State Administration of Cultural Heritage, An Laichun, vice president of the International Museum, Vice president of the National Museum of China, Yan Hongbin, Vice secretary of the National Palace Museum of China, Li Jinguang, vice secretary of the China Museum of Cultural Heritage, And Qi Yingchun, director of the Volunteer committee of the China Museum of Cultural Heritage, attended the ceremony and presented awards to outstanding volunteers. Nearly 130 representatives from 91 cultural and museological institutions attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yang Dan, Secretary-General of the Volunteer Work Committee of The China Games Association.

After three recommendation procedures including recommendation, preliminary review and final evaluation, 10 "Top ten Volunteer Stars", 5 "Outstanding Volunteer Workers", 2 "Outstanding volunteer Service Projects" and 3 "Outstanding volunteer service teams" were selected in the ninth "Hand-in-Hand History -- Top Ten Volunteer Star" promotion activity. Among them, "Outstanding Volunteer Worker" and "Outstanding Volunteer Service Project" are the new awards.

Qi Yingchun, director, presented the report on the 2018 Summary and 2019 Plan of the Volunteer Work Committee of The China Games Association. In the report, Qi pointed out that the field of volunteer service is increasingly involved in museums. The volunteer staff is relatively fixed, the quality of volunteers is constantly improved, and the management is more standardized and orderly. Further implement the incentive mechanism for volunteers; The inter-library volunteer work, represented by "Volunteers travel ten thousand Miles", is increasingly frequent, which further expands the dissemination of regional culture.

Museum volunteer service organization workers and volunteers came together, learning together outstanding volunteer service project cases, sharing volunteer work experience, discusses how to better play the museum volunteer role in the development of Chinese excellent culture, speak good Chinese story, spread good voice of China, good interpretation of Chinese characteristics, to show good image of China.

Five representatives from Suzhou Museum, Guangxi Museum of Nationalities, Henan Museum, Fujian Museum and Ningbo Museum of the past "Ten Best Volunteer Stars" exchanged speeches at the annual meeting and shared their volunteer service experience and feelings.
