Liu Yuzhu, head of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, met with the president of ICOM and other foreign guests in Fuzhou

 

Liu Yuzhu, head of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, meets with more than 20 foreign guests, including Suai Aksoi, president of the International Association of Museums, at the Fuzhou Strait International Convention Center on November 23, 2018. Guan Qiang, Deputy Director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, You Mengjun, Mayor of Fuzhou Municipal People's Government and other officials attended the meeting.



Director General Liu Yuzhu welcomed and thanked Suai Aksoi and other guests for coming to Fuzhou to attend the Fuzhou International Museum Expo. She also briefly introduced the development of China's museum industry in recent years and hoped that ICOM would continue to support China's museum industry and continuously expand the areas of cooperation between the two sides.

On behalf of all the foreign guests attending the Expo, Chairman Suai Aksoy expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for the gracious invitation. She reviewed the good cooperation between ICOM and CICOM over the years and shared the original relationship between ICOM and the Expo. She fully agreed with Mr. Liu Yuzhu's proposal to further strengthen cooperation between the two sides and create a bright future with the Chinese museum community.
